First, let's separate the apple from the oranges: The MDX is a seven-passenger SUV, and the TSX and TL are five-passenger cars. Prices on the MDX start at $44,175, compared with $36,800 for the TL and $31,405 for the TSX (all prices include an $895 destination charge), so that's another big difference.

The TL is the larger of the two sedans and comes only with a V-6 engine and a choice of front- or all-wheel drive. The TSX is front-drive only and offers a choice of a four-cylinder or V-6, and comes in a wagon body style as well as a sedan.

You should visit the individual model reports for these vehicles in the Cars.com Research section to find out which best suits your needs and budget.
