If you’re looking for technological breakthroughs that have debuted on a 2013 coupe, we aren’t aware of any earth-shaking developments. Many of the tech features new to 2013 coupes have been previously available on other models.
For example, the Scion tC gains a BeSpoke Premium stereo that includes HD Radio, iTunes tagging and Pandora internet radio through an iPhone. The stereo also works with the BeSpoke iPhone app that consolidates features such as Facebook, Twitter and Yelp.
New features for the Ford Mustang include xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights with LED accents and a 4.2-inch dashboard display for a trip computer and performance readings. The rival Chevrolet Camaro adds the MyLink multimedia system.
The redesigned Honda Accord coupe has several new features, including an expanded-view driver’s mirror and LaneWatch, which mounts a camera on the passenger-side mirror to show two lanes of adjacent traffic. Honda says it expands the driver’s view four times wider than the mirror alone. The HondaLink system, which can stream podcasts, audiobooks and other media through a smartphone and internet radio provider Aha, also is available on some Accord coupes.
