Unfortunately, we couldn’t find any hatchbacks that answer that description through the Cars.com Vehicle Recommender, which allows searching for all those criteria plus many more.

All-wheel-drive isn’t that common in hatchbacks (excluding SUVs), and specifying manual transmission and power seats reduces the field to zero.

Don’t despair, however, because we found three models that answer all your wishes except for the power seats. They are the Mini Cooper S Countryman All4 (technically a crossover SUV), with an EPA highway estimate of 31 mpg; the Subaru Impreza hatchback (33 mpg highway) and the Suzuki SX4 ACrossover hatchback (30 mpg highway). The driver’s seat in these models has a manual height adjustment, so you should check them out to see if they have enough seating flexibility to suit you.

If you’re willing to sacrifice some fuel economy, smaller SUVs such as the Jeep Patriot Limited (28 mpg highway) and the Subaru Forester and Outback (27 mpg highway) can be equipped with a power driver’s seat, a manual transmission and all-wheel drive.
