The redesigned 2013 Accord sedan went on sale Sept. 19 with a base price of $22,470, including the $790 destination charge. The Accord coupe arrived about a month later, and a plug-in hybrid sedan is due in 2013.


The redesigned Accord is smaller on the outside but roomier on the inside and comes with new features such as direct fuel injection, a continuously variable automatic transmission and noise cancellation systems that make for a quieter interior.
