The B7 Alpina emphasizes performance over luxury, wringing 500 horsepower out of its 4.4-liter V-8, 100 more than the 4.4-liter engine in the 750Li. The B7 also comes with standard adaptive front bucket seats with multiple adjustments (optional on the 750Li), heated rear seats, and a performance suspension and 21-inch wheels and tires (compared with 19-inchers on the 750Li).
You can line up the two side by side for a closer reading of the differences with the Cars.com comparison feature. The biggest difference we see is that the 750 Li starts at $89,095 and the B7 Alpina long-wheelbase version at $127,395 (both prices include destination charges), and we fail to see enough benefit to justify a $38,300 markup.
