The Toyota FJ Cruiser offers a part-time four-wheel-drive system on its automatic transmission versions, but the manual only comes with full-time four-wheel drive.

The aforementioned SUVs are still very much truck-based, rugged and off-road capable, which is where you’ll find these types of selectable systems.
