Which SUVs have a sunroof, navigation, ambient lighting and Bluetooth for less than $35,000 out the door?

I don’t want the little SUVs, either, like an Equinox. I want something nice, smooth and eclectic.

Jeanne, Carson, Calif.

With those feature requirements, check out the 2011 Kia Sorento. Bluetooth is standard across the lineup, and in the EX configuration with front-wheel drive and a six-cylinder, the navigation package includes ambient lighting.

That leaves the sunroof option, which is tied to the required Premium Package when navigation is opted; you can also choose the Premium Package without the sunroof when opting for navigation.

After all is said and done, we were able to configure this model for $32,890, including the $795 destination charge. “Out the door” pricing is going to be hard to pinpoint because of taxes, down payment, negotiating, dealership fees, etc., but at least you have some wiggle room. Helping is an available $1,500 cash-back incentive currently available in your area.

We built a number of fitting vehicles with your requirements in mind, like the 2011 Ford Edge, 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2010 Mazda CX-7 and 2010 Nissan Murano, but a few lacked all the features for your budget cap. Negotiating a lower price and ditching the ambient lighting requirement may open up your options.
