Which six- to eight-seater SUV has the easiest access to the third row? Your best bet for easy access is finding an SUV with captain’s chairs in the second row, like the Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia or Buick Enclave. These crossovers’ optional captain’s chairs create a decent-sized path from the second row to the rear and will have room for seven. 2010_enclave_seats

The Ford Flex and Lincoln MKT sit low to the ground, are easy to jump into and have relatively easy access to the third row. The Flex has an optional auto-folding feature for the second row, while this feature comes standard on the MKT.

Another SUV with easy third-row access is the 2011 Infiniti QX56. Its second row tumbles forward with little effort, but the SUV does sit fairly high off the ground.
