That’s a big negative. The IS 250 and IS 350 sedans share the same interior dimensions at 86 cubic feet of passenger volume. The big difference between the two is under the hood, where the IS 250 uses a 2.5-liter V-6 making 204 horsepower and the IS 350 uses a 3.5-liter V-6 making 306 hp.
If you find the inside of the IS small, you may want to look at larger sports sedans like the Acura TL or Infiniti G37, which have 98 and 99 cubic feet of interior space, respectively. Both are Cars.com Best Bets as well.
In the Lexus lineup, the ES 350 is the next-largest vehicle, though its front-wheel-drive comfort focus is very different from the rear- or all-wheel-drive sport-oriented IS.
