Sorry, but the closest you can come to that is with the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan, which can be equipped to tow up to 3,800 pounds. Most minivans can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

Today’s minivans are built on carlike unibody platforms, which don’t have the separate frame that gives truck-based vehicles the strong foundation required to tow hefty trailers.

If you need to tow 5,000 pounds and don’t want a full-size van or other truck-based vehicle, the possible alternatives include midsize SUVs such as the Chevrolet Traverse, Ford Explorer, Jeep Liberty, Nissan Pathfinder, and Toyota 4Runner  and Highlander.

You can use the Vehicle Recommender to help find vehicles that meet your needs.
