Should I buy the Buick LaCrosse, Chevrolet Malibu or Ford Taurus?

I want comfort, nice ride and easy access.

Out of those three, our editors agree that the Ford Taurus is the best well-rounded vehicle for seating comfort, nice ride and easily accessible interior.

The Taurus has a taller stance, which makes getting in and sliding out easier and provides good visibility of the road ahead. Its ride quality is comfortable and soft but without being too floaty like some big cars.

A few of our editors note that the LaCrosse’s and the Malibu’s seats weren’t very comfortable for them. The Malibu would be a good compromise if the LaCrosse and Taurus are too expensive, as both start in the $25,000 range compared with the Malibu’s $21,825 starting price.
