Which 2010 sedan has the features I want?

I am looking for a 2010 four-door car with tilt steering wheel, power-adjustable foot pedals with memory, six- or eight-way leather heated seats and the rear climate control vents.

With those specific features in a sedan, it looks like you’ll be shopping for a full-size sedan. Only full-sizers like the 2010 Ford Taurus, 2010 Chrysler 300C and 2010 Lincoln Town Car have everything you request.

Of those three, the Taurus is the only model named a Cars.com Best Bet. You’ll have to pick the Limited trim level and add an optional package named Rapid Spec 302B to get everything. The package costs $2,000 and includes adjustable pedals with memory function, as well as a blind spot monitoring system. A Taurus Limited starts at $31,770 with front-wheel drive and comes standard with tilt steering wheel, leather seating with heated front seats, memory seating and rear climate vents. All-wheel-drive models start at $33,620.

You won’t find a rear climate control system on any of these that can change temperature for rear passengers, but you will have climate control vents between the front seats facing rearward. All three offer rear heated seats as optional equipment to complement the front heated seats.

A rear-wheel-drive 300C starts at $38,010, and an all-wheel-drive version is $40,050. Neither requires any additional equipment, plus there’s currently up to $4,000 cash back in some areas. The 2010 Lincoln Town Car starts at $46,925 and also has $2,000 cash back.

When car shopping, don't underestimate the importance of A/C and heat vents in the back seats. Our 2008 Accord does not have them, and in the summer it takes a long time to cool off the back seat area! Honda has since added them for the 2010 model, but I sure wish our car had them. It does make a difference.

Call me jaded, but jeez, do a little homework.

+1 Idaho Guy!
