As far as a traditional car — as in sedan, coupe or hatchback — there aren’t any American-made all-wheel-drive hybrids. You can, however, find SUVs that fit your requirements.

The most fuel efficient of the bunch are the 2010 Ford Escape and 2010 Mercury Mariner hybrids, rated at 30/27 mpg city/highway and assembled in Kansas City, Mo. These compact SUVs seat five and start in the $30,000 range when equipped with optional all-wheel drive. Escape-hybrid

Stepping up in size, the 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe, 2010 GMC Yukon and 2010 Cadillac Escalade have available all-wheel drive teamed to their hybrid powertrains, and are built in Arlington, Texas. These are rated with mileage of 21/22 mpg. The Tahoe and Yukon start at $53,525 and $53,995, respectively, while the luxurious Cadillac is $75,975.

Ford Fusion also has Hybrid, Saturn Vue has the same however facing cut by GM, very likely will be a Chevy Equinox to replace with.

Right, so there aren't any American-made AWD Hybrid cars; expanding the search pool ever so slightly, are there any hybrid AWD cars available for purchase in the US?

One of the attractive qualities of hybrid automobiles is that they save their owner's money. Since hybrids use an electric motor in combination with an internal combustion motor, hybrids do use less gas, so it makes sense. However, a study has just been released which rakes hybrid vehicles over the coals for wasting a lot of money.

I really dont know how this pickups are transported to EU.
