Opting for a navigation-equipped 2010 Honda Accord will cost an additional $2,000, but you have to buy the highest-trim model, the EX-L. A four-cylinder EX-L with navigation has an MSRP of $28,030 with manual transmission and $28,830 with automatic transmission. The six-cylinder’s MSRP with navigation is $31,105; it only comes with an automatic transmission.

The Accord’s navigation system uses a knob-based controller instead of touch screen. While intuitive, some may be put off by the controller. Touch-screens are widely available elsewhere in the segment such as in the 2010 Hyundai Sonata, 2010 Mazda6, 2010 Ford Fusion and 2010 Toyota Camry.Accord-nav

How can I update my Honda Accord Navigation Sysytem to reflect the new roads and Interstate highways without having to pay my Honda dealership $200 to do so? I also have a hand held GPS that I can update by buying the new update disk for $20 each year at any Best Buy store in the area. Many of the Honda owners refuse to pay this outrageously high $200 fee to upgrade their Honda GPS system. Any ideas?
