The 2010 Subaru Forester is a small SUV that combines good visibility with high ground clearance.
The Forester’s narrow roof pillars and large windows give great visibility all the way around. We ranked a group of small SUVs by visibility including the Forester, Honda CR-V, Nissan Rogue and Ford Escape – among others – and the Forester took top spot.
Ground clearance is also good in the Forester with 8.7 inches for the X trim level and 8.9 inches for the XT. In comparison, the RAV4 is 7.5 inches, CR-V 6.7 inches and Ford Escape 8.4 inches.
The RAV4 and Escape also scored well in our tests of visibility and ground clearance.
