Is the warranty on the 2010 Toyota Prius transferable?

I'm in California and thinking about buying a used Prius.

The comprehensive, powertrain and hybrid warranties are transferable to second and subsequent owners of a 2010 Toyota Prius.

Toyota’s comprehensive warranty for the Prius covers three years/36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Powertrain coverage is five years/60,000 miles, and in California the hybrid warranty is good for 10 years/150,000 miles.

The hybrid component warranty covers the hybrid battery, battery control module, hybrid control module and inverter with converter. In most states the hybrid warranty is eight years/100,000 miles, but states that have adopted California’s Emission Control Warranty have a longer warranty. These states include California, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Connecticut, Maine, New Mexico and Rhode Island.

If you’re buying used, you can look into a certified pre-owned Prius, which will have additional warranty coverage beyond the factory warranties.

yes I would very much like to have a fully loaded moon roof Prius III. I will buy a used one in 2011, thats pretty loaded one owner low miles, transferable warranty....all for drive out of about 18k or LESS Ill wager(as there will be at least 6 HOT hybrid competitors in market in 2010 so prices will come down)....yea :)

Is it just me, or did the answer completely skirt the original question of whether the warranty is transferrable?

I missed it also, the very first sentence says: The comprehensive, powertrain and hybrid warranties are transferable to second and subsequent owners of a 2010 Toyota Prius.

I have a 2010 Prius...I am not sure what is meant by the warranty.
