The U.S. Department of Energy tracks E85 fueling stations across the country and gives you a few ways to search for them. An interactive map, which is provided by the DOE’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory, can locate E85 facilities within a radius of your choosing. The DOE has also compiled a list of E85 stations in Iowa, available here.
The majority of E85 refueling stations are in the Midwest, where a large amount of corn is grown for use in ethanol. Midwestern states like Minnesota, Iowa, Indiana and Illinois have the highest concentration of E85 stations in the U.S.
The DOE, with the help of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, verifies that the listed stations are currently selling E85, but you should still call and check with the station before making a trip. Not all of the listed refueling locations are public stations — the map also lists government-access locations — so make sure the station is available for public use.

The government site is usally about 6 months behind in reporting stations. A better place to look may be http://e85prices.com, where people report stations and prices in their area.
what is the real purpose for having an e85 alternative fuel vehicle rebate program if people are not given the rebate?? I purchased an e85 vehicle this past May 2009, sent in my rebate form to my State and my application was denied because"the vehicle did not cost extra for e85 capability." Is this a joke????????? No where on the application did it indicate a criteria for extra e85 cost. Why is the government supporting the manufacture of these vehicles?? Someone please answer my questions!
