I have a 2005 Cadillac SRX and currently the vehicle averages around 15 mpg.
The SRX is all new for 2010 and has better mileage ratings than the outgoing model. There are new engines offered in the crossover including a base V-6 making 265 horsepower and an up-level turbocharged V-6 at 300 hp.
The base V-6 paired with front-wheel drive is estimated by the EPA to get 18/25 mpg city/highway. For the 2009 model, which was real-wheel drive, the base V-6 had ratings of 15/23 mpg. All-wheel-drive 2010s with the base V-6 get 17/23 mpg; the previous generation was 14/22 mpg.
The optional turbocharged V-6 takes the place of the V-8 option in the 2009 SRX. The turbo V-6 is only mated to all-wheel drive and gas mileage estimates are 15/21 mpg. The V-8 of 2009 was rated at 13/20 mpg for rear- and all-wheel drive.
