Aside from repackaging optional equipment?
There aren’t any major changes to the EX35 for 2009. Infiniti’s small, sporty luxury SUV was introduced in 2008, and we rarely see significant changes to a car after only one model year. What has changed is its pricing and standard equipment. Now $1,900 more than the 2008 model, the entry level 2009 EX35 includes additional standard equipment.
With an MSRP of $33,800, not including an $865 destination fee, the 2009 EX35 Base with rear-wheel drive now has standard leather seats, a rear parking camera, rear climate control vents and roof rails.
One of our favorite options in the EX35 is its Around View Monitor, which uses four cameras positioned around the car’s exterior to give you a 360-degree bird’s-eye view. For 2009, the Around View Monitor is now grouped into a navigation package that also includes an upgraded Bose stereo for $2,000. The Around View Monitor is only available on Journey trim levels, which also receives new standard equipment for 2009, including a six-disc CD changer, power tilt and telescoping steering wheel and dual-zone automatic climate control. Journey trims start at $36,000 for rear-wheel drive, not including a destination fee.
