To start off, you’re looking at a $2,700 upgrade when stepping up from the base LX into the higher-optioned EX. What you get for that money includes a more powerful four-cylinder engine, making 190 horsepower instead of 177 hp, as well as more interior and exterior features. See this post for more detailed information on the engines.

On the inside, EX models gain a power moonroof, security system, eight-way power-adjustable seats with lumbar support, driver and passenger one-touch power windows and an in-dash six-disc CD player.

Exterior additions include 17-inch wheels in place of the LX’s 16s, heated side mirrors and a chrome exhaust tip.
