Unfortunately, no. Even though ethanol (E85) is an alternative to gasoline, the federal government doesn’t offer tax breaks on E85 vehicles.
Hybrid, plug-in hybrid, diesel, fuel-cell and natural gas vehicles do have tax credits. There have been attempts to legislate a tax incentive for E85 vehicles, but no bills have been passed.
