What kind of iPod auxiliary connection cord/cable do I need for my Honda Accord?

I just bought the 2009 Honda Accord; it has iPod integration. What kind of auxiliary connection cord/cable do I need to buy to be able to connect my iPod?

Since the 2009 Accord doesn’t offer true iPod integration like its smaller Civic sibling, we can only guess that you’re referring to the auxiliary input jack. The Accord’s auxiliary jack is in the center storage area, and it allows you to listen to any MP3 player that has a headphone jack, not just an iPod.

The cable you’ll need is available at any electronics store and commonly sells for less than $20. It’ll look like an ordinary headphone jack, but it has a jack on both ends of the cable. One end plugs into the MP3 player and the other into the aux jack in the center console. After you switch the stereo to Aux mode, you’ll have to control the music through your MP3 player.
