Mazda’s minivan-like, yet still sporty Mazda5 is built in Japan at Mazda’s Hiroshima assembly plant. More specifically, it’s built in Plant 2, where the CX-7 is also built. Plant 1 in Hiroshima sees assembly of the MX-5, RX-8 and CX-9.
