While Toyota is rolling out incentives on a majority of its models – 11 qualify for a newly offered zero-percent financing incentive – but the Yaris isn’t one of them. If you’re looking for a bare-bones Yaris with manual transmission and no power windows or locks, the entry level price for a two-door hatchback is $12,205, excluding a $720 destination charge, which brings the total up to $12,925 before taxes and dealership fees. With that price you do get antilock brakes and side-impact and side curtain airbags, which were newly added as standard equipment for the 2009 model year.

if you want to spend very little money, consider a used toyota/honda or a hyundai. there still is a lot of value in those cars - you get more for your money.

I just purchased a 5 door liftback with automatic transmission for $14,900. I looked at the price that carmax was selling their Yaris' for and asked my local Toyota dealer to match it. They did...and I saved! Use carmax as a leverage tool and I bet most dealers will match the advertised carmax price.
