I am interested in the 2009 Ford Escape, but I would like to have a manual transmission with cruise control. Is this combination standard? What about the Mazda Tribute?
The Escape’s five-speed manual transmission is only offered in the base XLS front-wheel-drive trim, which starts at $20,100 without destination charges. Cruise control is standard on this trim, and the Escape XLS has steering-wheel-mounted buttons for the cruise control. Cruise control isn’t standard in the Escape’s corporate sibling, Mazda Tribute, and it starts at $19,730.
