Global production for the current RAV4 takes place in Tahara, Japan. Later this year, a new manufacturing plant in Woodstock, Ontario, will produce the RAV4 specifically for the North American market. RAV4 production in Tahara will continue for Toyota’s other markets. Toyota expects to produce 150,000 RAV4s per year at the new Woodstock facility.
