Our vintage British sports-car knowledge may be a bit rusty, but the dad’s car in “Transformers” looks to be an Austin Healey 3000, circa the early 1960s. And no, that car doesn’t transform into a 40-foot-tall robot alien. For those who have seen the movie, the car in question makes an appearance early in the film when the dad drives his son, Sam — the lead human character — to car dealerships in search of his first car.
