We’re not ones to be shy about our features: You can find invoice pricing plus Manufacturer’s Suggested Retain Price when you build a new car at Cars.com. Also listed is Cars.com’s Smart Target Price, which estimates a starting point for negotiations by taking into account the invoice price, MSRP, vehicle demand and availability.

We built a 2008 Toyota Prius Touring and here are the prices:

MSRP: $23,370
Invoice: $21,447
Smart Target Price: $23,329

These numbers are also listed in our Side-by-Side Comparison tool, where your can compare up to four models and see the pricing for each all at once.

Does invoice pricing mean much anymore. Doesn't dealer kickback and advertising pricing get included in this price these days?
