Is it normal for the road to take the wheel in my Infiniti M35?

I drive an Infiniti M35 and find that the road will take the steering wheel from time to time. I then have to work to steer it. Is that typical for this model or low-profile tires?

This is actually fairly common with wider performance tires like on the M35, and also happens in other sport sedans similar to the M35.

According to Cars.com reviewer David Thomas, “I actually noted this too when driving the M35. It's a trait common in sporty sedans of its size, and the 5 Series does a bit of it too. This is what some enthusiasts like to call ‘feeling the road.’ I agree it’s disturbing if you're on bad roads like here in Chicago. It basically means you have to pay much more attention to your driving than in some other cars.”
