Minis are front-wheel drive, including the Cooper, Cooper S and Clubman. There may be all-wheel drive at some point on a new model, though. Mini has confirmed its developing an SUV. Though it’s likely that an AWD version will appear, we don’t know if it will be optional or standard. There’s no official release dates yet, either. When there is official word, you’ll be able to find coverage on our KickingTires blog in the “Mini” section.
