I don't like to haggle. A simple base-priced car, no whistles and bells, just something to get back and forth from work.
There’s nothing wrong with minimalist transportation. The 2008 Toyota Yaris CE hatchback provides few bells and whistles in standard trim, starting at an MSRP of $11,300 without destination and handling charges.
For a fair price, you should take a look at the Cars.com Smart Target Price, which we currently list at $11,960, including destination. In this case, the Smart Target Price is the same as the MSRP when the $660 destination charge is included.
Smart Target Price evaluates pricing by monitoring invoice price, manufacturer's suggested retail price, marketplace demand and availability. All that info gets plugged into a formula to get a starting price you can use for negotiations.
Toyota currently doesn’t list any national incentives or rebates on the Yaris, but check for regional specials on Toyota’s website. We plucked in West Palm Beach’s zip code at Toyota’s site and still came up with nada, though.

hey.
why a toyota yaris??
its not that great looking.. and everything about it is pretty cheap..
look at the honda fit. it might be a thousand or two more but its worth the money..
if you like toyota then go for the corolla.
the yaris is not worth it... and trust me it will not protect you in a accident
The Yaris scored good overall in IIHS frontal crash tests. Side crash tests didn't go over so well without the optional side airbags, though, and it got a poor rating. With the side airbags it was rated good. Here's a link to the IIHS crash tests.
