The 2008 Toyota Sequoia would start at what base price and up to what max price? How many miles per gallon? What would the whole front clip look like?
Update: As promised, below is pricing for the 2008 Sequoia, which ranges from $34,150 to $55,600. Toyota says the new Sequoia will go on sale at the end of December.
2008 Sequoia Pricing:
We just saw the newly redesigned Sequoia for the first time at the L.A. auto show last week. No pricing information was announced at the show, but once Toyota dishes out the prices we’ll post them up here.
You’re not completely out of luck, though; we can answer the other two questions right now. There’s a new 5.7-liter V-8 that makes 381 hp, and it’s rated at 14/19 mpg city/highway in two-wheel drive Sequoias, and 13/18 with four-wheel drive. The smaller, 4.7-liter engine is rated at 14/17 for 2WD and 13/16 for 4WD.
Yep, that’s right: The smaller engine has lower mpg ratings than the big one. You can chalk that up to the six-speed automatic transmission that’s only mated to the big 5.7-liter.
As for the whole front clip … think Tundra. See our L.A. auto show coverage for more cars and trucks, and check out the Sequoia photo gallery here.
