Other than minor touchups, the Nitro is relatively the same roller-skate-shaped-but-still-good-looking SUV that was introduced for the 2007 model year. New features specific to the Dodge Nitro R/T include two-tone seats with seat insert colors named Inferno Red, Electric Blue and Sunburst Orange, which would make better sports drink names than seat colors. Less thirst-quenching are the new exterior colors, named Light Graystone, Brilliant Black and Modern Blue, that are available across the entire Nitro lineup for 2008 — not just the R/T. New optional equipment includes a parking assist that uses audible and visual warnings when the vehicle is in reverse to keep track of close objects, as well as a trailer sway prevention system that is designed to maintain vehicle control in the event of trailer sway caused by crosswinds and traffic.

2008 Dodge Nitro Pricing:

Model                           Starting MSRP
4dr 4x2 SXT                  $19,595
4dr 4x4 SXT                  $21,255
4dr 4x2 SLT/RT              $23,005
4dr 4x4 SLT/RT              $24,665

I know that the 2008 dodge nitro has the Yes Essential seat covers which are virtually indestructable but am looking at a low mileage 2007 nitro and not sure if they have the same seats. Does anyone know anything about this?

Thanks
