What will be the price of the Infiniti G37? Maybe one with the Sport package.
*See below for update
No pricing information has been released yet for the G37 coupe, which is scheduled to go on sale sometime this August, but when it is announced we’ll be sure to update this post with information, so keep checking back. The G37’s predecessor — G35 coupe — started in the $33-34,000 range, and we would expect the G37 to be similarly priced, if not more expensive. A recent trend among manufacturers has been to lower entry level prices on redesigned models despite offering more content and better performance, which is why it’s best to wait until the price is official. Either way, the price shouldn’t be significantly more or less than the outgoing G35. The G37 has a more powerful engine than the G35 that uses Infiniti’s VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift) air induction system, which is similar to BMW’s Valvetronic.
UPDATE (8/1/2007): Infiniti released the full specs
today, and the G37 will start at $34,250 for the base Coupe, with the
Coupe Journey at $35,000 and Coupe Sport at $35,550. Expect the G37 to
arrive in dealerships on August 21.

Nafddur, the previous G35 had the option of XM or Sirius, but we haven't heard of having a choice of both on the G37. XM programming is standard, though, and there's a trial period of three months before you have to subscribe. We'll let you know if we hear anything.
