How do I tell the difference between the all-wheel-drive Cadillac SRX and the rear-wheel-drive one? Is there an obvious difference, or am I almost stuck crawling underneath to check?
Your knees can thank us later, Colton, because Cadillac identifies its all-wheel-drive models with a superscript subscript "4" at the end of the model emblem on the right rear of the car. Cadillac equips the STS and SRX with all-wheel drive and the superscript subscript "4" emblem, and the upcoming CTS will also have all-wheel drive with the same identification.
(Edit: We were originally told the "4" was superscript, but after further investigation it is, in fact, subscript)

It's actually above the letters like when you square a number. That's Superscript. We were unable to find a picture of the badging unfortunately to illustrate it.

ebaymotor can help out on this.

It looks like you're right J, but I still swear it was superscript when I saw it. I must be loopy.
Dave,
Maybe you were right for what you've seen, because I have to admit that some vehicles' badges are not at the same spot on every same vehicle.
I've seen the Blue oval badge on both sides of last generation Mustangs. :)

I believe it is called subscript instead of superscript.
